Windows Anniversary Update Coming To HP Elite X3 By September 13th

As Sony plans the rollout of the Sony Xperia X Compact, HP has promised to update its SmartphoneElite X3  to the latest Microsoft Operating System.

According to source, a day after the device hits US stores, it will receive the Windows 10 anniversary update by September 13th.

The advantage of the Windows 10 update is that; it will come with Windows Information Protection which was formally known as EDP. This feature provides ways to keep data/information safe, and ability to block log or alert at copy, paste, open, saved and encrypted data.

Few bugs of this device would also be fixed (Slow Boot, Slow SIM Card Register) in this update.
