I will be dropping three options for you to follow, if they don’t work then you have to change your charging port. Well, this options might work for many if the charging port hasn't been changed.
After I got my device, I happily connected to my PC via USB without stress but a few weeks back, it became disobedient and showing me USB not recognized.

Now use any of this options to fix the problem and access your files once more

How Do I Fix USB Not Recognized Issue When I Connected My Phone to My PC?
Option 1:
Now this option is very common, just like applying your common sense. Most USB Cords  out there might be bend down and select USB Cords (Permit me to use that) which don’t work for transferring or accessing files. This kind of cords are only designed for charging.
Now, what am saying is that, you have to change the cord you using to a good one.

Option 2:
This aspect will demand you update your drivers. So to make this work, follow the steps below to update your system drivers
  • Make sure your device is connected Via USB to your PC.
  • You should be connected to the internet.
  • Right Click on the start button, a list will display.
  • From the list select device manager
  • When it opens, click on other devices, you should see unknown device.

  • Now double click on unknown device
  • Now Switch to the "Driver" Tab, and click on update drivers, immediately it searches for your driver and updates.

Now, if these options don’t work for you, you just have to save your stress the headache and visit a phone engineer to change your charging port to a good one, because the issue might result from the charging port.
