US Immigration Ban: Viber Offers Free Call To Affected Countries

Viber has revealed that due to the US immigration ban placed by new president Donald Trump, it will be offering free calls to the countries affected by this.

The offer will seemingly be available for the foreseeable future with no particular end date being announced by Viber.

The USA shut its doors to refugees fleeing conflict-torn Syria and suspended entry from citizens of Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen, all Muslim-majority international locations. The circulate has induced chaos and anger within the U.S. And overseas.

In Africa, the Trump refugee ban is centered at Somalia, Sudan and Libya, where tens of millions of people have fled from warfare zones and famine. His new government order will pressure loads of refugees to return to a number of the arena’s most dangerous and squalid refugee camps.

As a minimum of 300 refugees, generally Somali, are actually caught in Kenya after their flights to the USA were cancelled, according to a file by Radio Dalsan, a radio station primarily based in Mogadishu.

According to the announcement by Viber, this includes free calls to mobile and landline in the following countries: Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen. Recall that tech giants like Google, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook etc has condemned this immigration ban movement.
